Frequently Asked Questions
How much do your pumpkins cost?
The pumpkins vary in price depending on their size, but start from £2.
Do we need to book?
There’s no need to book to visit our patch and there’s no cost to visit.
What if the weather's bad?
You’re still more than welcome to pick your pumpkin, but we’d recommend you wear suitable shoes and waterproofs. Even if the weathers not great we’re sure you’ll have fun in the field plus we’ve got the marquee with a carving area for you to take shelter!
Are dogs allowed?
We love our four-legged friends and can’t wait to see yours at the patch. We just ask that they’re kept on a lead.
Is the patch wheelchair/pushchair accessible?
The pumpkin patch is accessed directly from the parking area which you should be able to access with a suitable wheelchair or pushchair. However, the pumpkin patch itself may be very muddy making access difficult, if you’re having problems, a member of the team will gladly assist.
When is the best time to visit?
We’re open every weekend in October plus half term week but we’d recommend you visit the farm early to get the pick of the patch. Pumpkins will last until Halloween just keep them in a cool, dark and dry place and they’ll look spooktacular for the day!
Do you accept card payment?
We accept all card payment and take cash too.
When should I carve my pumpkin?
To keep your pumpkin looking fresh you should avoid carving anymore than 5 days before Halloween. It’s best to keep your pumpkin in a cool dry place until you’re ready to carve it.
What do I need to bring?
We recommend wellies and appropriate clothing, along with a strong carrier bag to transport your chosen pumpkin(s) home. We’ve got a pumpkin spa so you’ll be able to wash your produce before you leave.
